At ZeroMow, we don’t just lay grass — we build it from the ground up. Every installation is carried out by our Lantra-certified team, using 100mm MOT Type 1 sub-base and grano dust leveling to ensure durability, drainage, and a flawless finish.

Here’s how we do it:

Our process starts by removing the existing turf, soil or paving to the correct depth to ensure stability. 

We then:

• Add a weed-suppressing membrane to reduce future growth and to aid ground stability
• Install a 100mm MOT Type 1 sub-base for strength and drainage
• Compact and level it for a solid, even foundation
• Apply a smooth grano dust top layer for precision levelling

Once the base is perfect, we roll out your chosen ZeroMow grass, ensuring all joints are invisible and fibers are aligned.

• Joints are bonded with professional-grade adhesive and seam tape
• Edges are secured discreetly for a clean, natural look
• We infill with kiln-dried sand or crushed glass, depending on the project, to weigh down the surface and support the fibre structure

We use a mechanical brush to lift the pile and work infill deep into the fibres. The result? A lush, freshly mown look — that stays that way.

We’ll walk you through the finished lawn and provide a ZeroMow Care Guide, including tips for brushing, cleaning, and pet-safe maintenance. You’ll also be offered our 6-month refresh service for future upkeep.
